Mexico – Building Inclusive Communication with Secretaria de Igualdad e Inclusión of Nuevo León

MexicoBuilding Inclusive Communication with Secretaria de Igualdad e Inclusión of Nuevo León

From Monterrey, we reaffirm our commitment to equity and diversity by participating in the Inclusive and Bias-Free Communication Workshop, organized by the Secretariat for Equality and Inclusion of the State of Nuevo León. This activity is part of the 2025 Equality and Corporate Inclusion Award, an initiative aimed at supporting companies in building more conscious, respectful, and sustainable work environments.

The workshop was facilitated by Paulina Rodríguez Werner, founding partner and Head of ESG Impact, Sustainability, and CSR at Komunika Latam, who noted:

“Inclusion is not a secondary issue or a matter of image—it’s a competitive advantage that drives trust, innovation, and financial performance. At Komunika Latam, we believe that dismantling bias and communicating with equity is the first step toward building organizations that are both more human and more resilient and profitable.”

Throughout the workshop, teams from Human Resources, Social Responsibility, Communications, and business leaders explored how to identify the invisible biases that influence daily decisions and transform them into inclusive practices that strengthen reputation and business trust.

Fidel Salazar, Director of Consulting and part of Komunika’s Monterrey team, highlighted the importance of this partnership:

“Our presence in spaces like this reaffirms Komunika’s commitment to supporting organizations that seek to communicate with diversity and respect in every message.”

Through initiatives like this workshop, we continue to advance our purpose of driving communication strategies that generate positive impact and contribute to building a sustainable society in Latin America.
